Greenland, 2007
The following paintings were inspired during three expeditions to the arctic in the summer and autumn of 2007. I worked as artist
in residence aboard the nuclear icebreaker, Yamal, during 2 expeditions to the North pole in June and July. In late August and
September I joined the Icebreaker Kapitan Klhebnikov on a expedition to explore the seldom visited north east coast of Greenland. |
