| These photographs were taken on painting trips to Pacific Rim National Park, Vancouver Island, and Haida Gwaii (The Queen Charlotte Islands). These places on the west coast of British Columbia, Canada, are some of the richest intertidal ecosystems in the world. When the tide recedes, us land dwellers can catch a glimpse of this complex and mysterious world. This life between ocean and land takes us back to primordial patterns. |
