Golden Creek

The seasonal transitions in Northern Ontario give the artist endless inspiration.  For several years I witnessed the daily changes to this outflow creek from Spruce Lake, located along the Algoma Central Railway.  Snow comes early in the Algoma Highlands bordering the east shore of Lake Superior.  It is this landscape that heavily influenced the famous Canadian artists "The Group of Seven " in the early 1920's.
